Bill Morris works and lives in Peckham.

When I work with a building, I try to fit in with the surroundings, whether an existing building, or the neighbour hood, and within the building to create simple, and sometimes cosy spaces. I link the inside and the outside, to allow in light and sunlight, and to make sure a building is warm in winter and cool in summer. I use natural materials because they can be easily maintained, repaired, and replaced. I have always appreciated the advice and insight of other consultants, particularly engineers, and I nearly always enjoy working with builders, and usually the building process is a happy one, and if not, I persevere.
